Pag-IBIG MP2 Annual Dividend Not Credited – Resolved
If you have been monitoring your yearly payout MP2 account via Virtual Pag-IBIG and keep seeing that no dividend for 2023 has been reflected yet, do not worry. You CAN apply for the release of your MP2 dividend.
I opened an
MP2 account with annual dividend payout in 2021. Over the past 2 years, dividends were credited in Virtual Pag-IBIG within 2 months after the announcement of the dividend rate. I withdrew the 2021 and 2022 dividends in
June last year.
This year,
the 2023 dividend rate of 7.05% was announced in February. However, by the end of May (3 months after the
announcement), no dividend had been reflected in my account when I checked via
Virtual Pag-IBIG.
Concerned, I contacted a Lingkod Pag-IBIG agent via live chat. I was informed that the crediting of MP2 dividends was ongoing and I was advised to wait.
One month
later, still no dividend appeared in my account. I was reading posts in MP2 groups on Facebook
and came across people with same issue. I learned that some were able to
withdraw their annual dividend even if it had not been credited yet in Virtual Pag-IBIG.
Early this
month, I went to a Pag-IBIG branch and filed an application for the release of
annual MP2 dividends. After 4 working
days, the 2023 dividend FINALLY appeared in my Virtual Pag-IBIG account. The next working day, the dividend withdrawal
was reflected.
I was able to claim the annual dividend check 8 working days after I filed for its release.
