How to Claim the Pag-IBIG MP2 Dividend Check

When applying for the release of your MP2 annual payout dividend, you can choose to have Pag-IBIG deposit it in your bank account or issue a paper check.  This year and last year, I opted to get the annual dividends by check.   

Although less convenient than the bank deposit option, claiming the check at a Pag-IBIG branch was a fast process in my experience.  I was in and out of the Pag-IBIG office in less than 10 minutes.😀

Here is a guide on how to claim your MP2 annual dividend check:

1.  Wait for the text message from Pag-IBIG that the check is ready for pick up. 

      This SMS contains the check number.  This year, I received the text message 8 working

      days after I filed the application form. 

2.  Visit the same Pag-IBIG branch where you applied for the release of the MP2 annual

      dividends. Inform the reception counter that you are claiming a check and get a 

      queue number ticket.

 
3.  Write the check number on the queue number ticket.

4.  When it is your turn at the check releasing counter, present 2 valid IDs and the

      queue number ticket where the check number is written. The person at the counter

      will then look for your check.

5.  Receive the dividend check.  Sign in the check releasing logbook and form. Do not

      forget to check your MP2 dividend check for typos or other errors.
